Mein Backbuch

German traditional pastry making
- seen through Japanese eyes

Noriko Tanaka has lived for over 40 years in Stuttgart, Germany. In her Japanese bakery book "Deutsche Backkunst - japanisch gesehen" she puts together her personal favorite recipes from German traditional pastry making. The book contains recipes of cakes and fancy cakes, fine pastries and Christmas cookies and all sorts of breads and baked goods.

Clearly arranged and with detailed step-by-step instructions, even beginners can try to make Noriko Tanaka's creations in their own kitchen. All ingredients are available in Japanese supermarkets, so that you won't have to abstain from her fine pastries even in Japan.

The bakery book (format 10 x 8.5 in., hardcover with ribbon page marker, 169 pp.) is wonderfully designed and provided with numerous color photos of Toshiro Tanaka.
